"Busy!"
I suspect we've all been guilty of providing that response at one point or another.
But next time, before you automatically reply with "busy", ask yourself, "busy doing what"?
If you're busy creating reports that few people actually read, or attending meetings where no decisions get made, or completing projects that don't add significant value to your company, then it's probably better to instead reply with, "Fine, thanks" and move on.
Because that kind of "busy" is nothing to brag about.
