Ideas. Insights. Inspiration.

In a Minute...

Visual Capitalist recently published an infographic (sponsored by data provider Domo.com and reposted below) that illustrates some of the things that happen on the Internet every single minute.

The numbers are almost difficult to comprehend.

For example, every minute:

  • Instagrammers share 65,000 photos.

  • Amazon customers spend $283,000.

  • Netflix users watch 452,000 hours of content.

  • Twitter users send 575,000 tweets.

  • YouTube users stream 694,000 videos.

  • Google users submit 5,700,000 searches.

And last but certainly not least...

  • TikTok users watch 67 million videos.

Each of these things happens every single minute of every single day.

Granted, the infographic also indicates there are 5.2 billion Internet users -- up from 4.5 billion in 2020 -- so it doesn't take long to rack up this level of activity.

Still, in the time it took you to read this post, 6 million people purchased something online.

Can you imagine what the numbers will look like in 2022?
