Today, despite the lockdown currently in effect, my daughter Charlotte is on a class trip to the Zoo.
She's sitting in front of the computer, and an employee of The Toronto Zoo is using a video camera to take a class of junior kindergarten students through each exhibit. Right now she's learning about seahorses, and she is absolutely memorized.
We all want 2021 to be better than 2020... but we're just getting started and we're not quite there yet.
Your work or home situation today might not be ideal.
But where there's a will, there's a way.
Kudos to all the teachers going above and beyond to make online learning work for our kids.
Kudos to organizations like the Toronto Zoo who are adapting to our current environment.
And kudos to all of you who are finding the will and the way to make things work.
